Obituary of Michael Paul Dederick

LAKE PLACID, NY Michael Paul Dederick, age 48, passed away peacefully on March 10th, 2017 in Plattsburgh, NY. Michael was born in Lake Placid, NY on March 11, 1968 to Clinton and Patricia Dederick. Michael was a graduate of Lake Placid High School, class of 1986. Michael had a passion for cooking and held many jobs in the hospitality industry in Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, NY and Plattsburgh, NY. He also had a passion for his pets and leaves behind Meika, Lily and Bridget. Michael is survived by his loving companion, Viola Harriman of Plattsburgh, NY; four daughters, Cori Valenze of Lake Placid, Monica Dederick of Tupper Lake and twin daughters, Hannah and Emma Steven's of Virginia; one son, Justin (Chelsey) Dederick of Saranac Lake; three sisters, Tricia (Ken) Fontana of Saranac Lake, Nancy Dederick of Saranac Lake and Becky (Guy) Celano of Texas; two brothers, Clinton (Rhonda) Dederick of Plattsburgh and Daniel(Erika) Dederick of Raybrook NY. Michael also leaves a grandson, Aiden Valenze of Lake Placid and nephew, Gian Fontana of Saranac Lake as well as many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Pat and Corky Dederick of Lake Placid, NY. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 15th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, with a service to follow, at the M. B. Clark, Inc., Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY. Rev. Patricia Molik, Pastor of the Adirondack Community Church in Lake Placid, NY will officiate.
