In 1965 hrs. a summer employ in Lake Placid and I met met Devon Mike Shay and Rick and we eventually planned a trip to California in my 55 holes and we’re standing in front of my home in Harrisburg Pennsylvania getting supplies for the trip it was quite a trip and I think we all had memories I’m sad to hear that my friend Mike has passed and I will always remember the guys in Lake Placid we venture headed to the squad Valley but the snow didn’t come so we left Matt , Rick in Call an came east

To The Shea Family, So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I have been away most of the summer and just returned to hear this sad news. As with the rest of the Shea family, growing up and living here in Lake Placid made us good friends and I always enjoyed our conversations at church, Whiteface or while fishing off your dock with Brownie. My deepest sympathies to the family and friends. Death at any age is difficult. Please draw comfort from the words found at 1 Corinthians 15:26 it says: "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." And also from Hosea 13:14 which says "From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them." Beautiful promises from Jehovah, a God who cannot lie.
