Jane had such a huge personality that was unparalleled in this every day world of ours, we will miss her dearly. In her passing, however, she has gained the perfect vantage point to oversee her first granddaughter's wedding. Rest in peace Aunt Jane, we know you are watching from above.

We absolutely loved Mrs. Eagan! From the day we became neighbors on Swiss Rd. she was like a member of our summer family. Our four kids would fight over who's turn it was to read their favorite story to her or to play some really pretty terrible piano for her. We loved having her over for the 4th of July! Food, Fireworks and really noisy kids! Mrs Eagan never once made us feel anything less than totally loved. Forever the teacher, her patience was long and her smile warm and welcoming. We are so very blessed to have had Mrs. Eagan in our lives. She touched all of our hearts and will forever hold a place in them. We are selfishly sad that she is gone, but know that she is pain free and full of renewed life, forever enjoying the beautiful Adirondack Mountain sunsets over Mirror Lake.
Thank you for sharing her with us! God Bless.

Our deepest condolences to the Eagan family during this time of sorrow. I first meant Jane during my college days with Kevin at St. Lawrence and have had the opportunity to see her on several occasions since those days years ago. Each and every conversation was a joy as she always made everyone feel welcomed.

My deepest sympathies to the family and friends. Death at any age is difficult. Please draw comfort from the words found at 1 Corinthians 15:26 it says: "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." And also from Hosea 13:14 which says "From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them." Beautiful promises from Jehovah, a God who cannot lie.

It was my privilege to visit and care for sweet Jane last Fall. She was always a delight and her smarts and skills as a teacher had not deserted her while I knew her. Special condolences to the family of whom she was extremely proud. Special blessings to all who knew her.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Jane's passing. I will always remember spending summers with the Eagans at the pool. Aunt Jane always spoiled us by taking us swimming everyday. I will also remember going into her classroom and singing with the kids! She was a fabulous piano player!
I am sure there is a big reunion going on in heaven! I hope your memories will give you comfort at this sad time! Love from the Finches.

I had the opportunity to meet and visit with Jane on two separate occasions. I enjoyed our brief conversations. (I came to know Jane through Bernadette Clarke who had been a friend to Jane when she lived in Lake Placid.)
She so looked forward to 'reading good books' through audio. She also was delighted to talk about her children and grandchildren.
I had looked forward to talking with Jane again over the summer. Now, I will pray with the family on July 15, in gratitude for her life and in hope that she now is enjoying eternal life with no bodily impairments.

Kevin, Jim, Mark -We were very sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. Your Mom was truly a very special person, whose kindness and spirit left happiness where ever she went. Your mother was one of those very few in this world who everyone who knew her loved her.
We were blessed to know your mother, and better people for it. We will keep her and all of you in our prayers.
Best- Paul and Ann
