Obituary of Stacy Paul Lawrence

Stacy P. Lawrence, 62, of 459 Old Military Road, Lake Placid, died at the home of his brother, Robert Lawrence/Bell, on Saturday September 9th, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family. Stacy was born on September 26, 1954, the son of James H. and Lois L. Sewell Lawrence/Shipansky. His occupation was a golf cart mechanic, and he worked mostly in Florida, until 3 weeks ago, when he came to his brother's home. He loved the woods and the outdoors, and when in Lake Placid, spent a great deal of time in his grandfather's camp. His father, James, died in 1989. He is survived by his mother, Lois Shipansky, of Flint, MI; four children, Laurie Rock, of Florida, Lucas Lawrence, of Florida, Joseph Lawrence, of Florida, and Michael Lawrence, of North Carolina; three brothers, Robert Lawrence/Bell of Lake Placid, Tracy Lawrence and wife, Penny, of North Carolina, and John Kevin Lawrence and wife, Heather, of Tennessee; three nieces and nephews, and several cousins. There will be no calling hours, and no Services. There will be a private get together of the family at a later date. The M. B. Clark, Inc.
