Obituary of Arthur Joseph Borden

A J (Arthur Joseph Borden) went home to be with the Lord, Sunday September 10, 2017. AJ was a true fighter, he fought right up to the end. Jeremiah 17:7 "But blessed are those who trust in the Lord, and have made the Lord their hope and confidence." NLT. AJ was survived by his mother Carolyn Chrisman Borden of Lake Placid, NY ; A sister Holly Borden Slater of Kentucky; Brother Mark Borden and his wife Karen of Kentucky; Brother Andy Borden and wife Maryann of Lake Placid, NY; Brother Mike Borden and wife Anna of AuSable Forks, NY; Sister April Andersen of Lake Placid, NY. AJ also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his Father Edward Borden Jr. and Sister Elaine Borden Hathaway. A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Friday September 15, 2017 at New Hope Church, 207 Station Street, Lake Placid. Apostle Richard Ducatt will officiate. A reception for family and friends will follow at the church. Arrangements are in care of M.B. Clark Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid.
