Obituary of David Adrian LaTray

David A LaTray passed away September 26 2017 from a lengthy Illness at Newton Medical Center in NJ with his son Ronald by his side. David was predeceased by his Parents Neva and Adrian LaTray of Bombay, NY; his sister, Judith Fountain formerly of Moira, NY; and his brother Gerald LaTreille formerly of Bombay, NY. He is survived by 4 children: Ronald LaTray, Sarah L. Lashomb, and Scott LaTray of Massena NY and Jason LaTray of Norfolk, NY. He is also survived by his granddaughter Cecilie; one sister, Donna Heading of Virginia; one brother, Randy LaTray of Florida along with several nephews and one niece. David was raised on a dairy farm in Bombay, NY. He enlisted in the United States Army in the 1970's and served until he returned in 1977. He spent 29 years working at ALCOA in Massena, NY until he retired. David loved being outside working in his garden, he was most noted by his gigantic pumpkins he grew, his fishing, by the many perch he caught on his several fishing trips and camping at Lake Meacham Camp Ground. He was noted for being a hard worker by many who knew him and he liked practical jokes as well. He loved his country and the freedoms that it has. There will be no calling hours. A ceremony will be held at a future date at the request of immediate family. The M. B. Clark, Inc., Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY is in charge of arrangements.
