Dear Beth and Grady Family,
I am so saddened to learn of Scott's passing. Scott was a valued team member at Mountain Lake Academy and performed his job most conscientiously. He cared passionately about the mission of our school. His devotion to make positive contributions to the lives of the youth in care was outstanding. To this very day we still quote Scott in many situations.
On behalf of the staff of Mountain Lake Academy our deepest condolences to Beth and the Grady family.

Beth, Ann and Ray, I was shocked and saddened to read this obituary in the paper today. I went to school with Scott and always remember him as being a very kind, quiet person. I was hoping to see him at our 40th High School Reunion in June and was sad when he didn't make it. Even more so now. Please accept my deepest sympathy in your loss. He was far too young!
Sincerely,
Penny McNally
