Obituary of Agnes Edgley

Agnes " Aggie" Edgley, age 97, of Lake Placid, NY passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 at Elderwood Of Uihlein At Lake Placid, Lake Placid, NY. Mrs. Edgley was born July 5, 1920 in Lake Placid, NY. She is the daughter of the late Peter and the late Margaret (Cambridge) Edwards. Mrs. Edgley earned her Bachelor Degree in Accounting at Ryder College. Mrs. Edgley had worked for Deo Coburn at the Lake Placid Pharmacy and Forrest Press, a division of the Dewy Decimal System, at the Lake Placid Club in Lake Placid, NY. She retired from Lake Placid Pharmacy as a(n) Accountant in 1957. She is survived by her husband: Donald G. Edgley of Lake Placid, NY; one daughter, Karen (Jim) Sullivan of Lake Placid, NY; two sons, Leonard (Kathleen) Williams of Webster, NY and Gerald " Jerry" Edgley of Lake Placid, NY; four grandchildren, Hannah (Adam) Tanalski, Jesse Williams, Travis Tomich and his companion Maya Mason-Hilt, and Lauren (Zach) Follett. Calling hours will be held Friday November 17th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the M. B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in North Elba Cemetery. Rev. David Ousley pastor of St. Eustace Episcopal Church will officiate. The family suggests donations in memory of Aggie be made to the Lake Placid Vol. Ambulance Service or the Shriners Hospital.
