Sue - We were deeply saddened by the news of David passing. No one can be prepared for the loss of someone so dear and loved. I don't know how to heal your pain, but I wish I could. My heart breaks for the loss of my dear brother, David. He was a wonderful, kind, and gentle man. He worked tirelessly and quietly to bring to his family what was most important in this life; love, family and friends. He truly loved helping people and making a difference in their lives. My annual vegetable garden flourished with the help of his plants, even though he planted them early (especially for me) and tended to them well so I could have a head start in my garden. I especially enjoyed him stopping by to pick swiss chard and raspberries with Sue, his children and grandchildren. I loved tasting a wide variety of David's home made wines and being at his gatherings at "The Lake". I have so many wonderful memories of David. He fought a difficult battle with cancer and still managed to smile through all of the pain he encountered on a daily basis. We lost a very special person here on earth and he left us much too early. Memories of David will never diminish and our love for Sue and wonderful children and grandchildren will always remain strong.

I will miss David dearly, he was such a very special person. David made me feel like I was a real part of the family, not just an " in law". I was always welcomed into his home and invited to his special family gatherings at the lake property. I am forever grateful for having the opportunity to have known David and I have so much respect for his wife "Sue" and all of his wonderful family. David's kind gentle way will remain etched in my memory forever. May you rest in peace.
