I had the pleasure of meeting Babe while Carl was a patient in the hospital towards his final earthly days. I worked night shift and Carl would call out for 'Babe' in the night. I would go in to comfort him telling him she was sure to return in the morning. I would sit in his room to do my notes. I always knew Babe would show up in the morning as the love between them shined onto everyone near them. They were a couple that seemed to naturally just bless everyone they met. Once again finally united I am sure they are in each others arms and in the loving peace of our Lord. And a legacy of kindness, giving to others less fortunate, and a smile will continue on through all that knew this amazing kind lady.
