Obituary of John E. Dupee

Mooers John Edward Dupee, 67, of Route 11, Mooers, NY, went home to heaven Monday, October 22, 2012 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born September 25, 1945 a son of the late Edward and Della (Duprey) Dupee. John was a kind, gentle and humble man who loved his family. He was lucky man, with many friends, who realized that his relationships were much more important than material possessions. He will be greatly missed by all of those whose hearts he has touched. John is survived by two brothers James Dupee and Russell Dupee, both of Champlain, and five sisters Betty Babbie, Jane Hemmingway, Ruth Behan and husband Ernie and Viola Castine, all of Champlain, and Verda LaValley and companion Michael Fagen of Mooers Forks. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his step-father Kenneth Bell, his brother William Dupee, his sister Lena Clausen, four brothers-in-law, Lawrence Babbie, Hank Hemmingway, Clarence LaValley and Harold Castine, and one sister-in-law Catherine Dupee. At John's request, there will be no calling hours. Graveside Services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, October 26th at St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Chazy, NY. Arrangements are in the care of M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 196 Elm St., Champlain, NY.
