Bumper, what can we say except you were one of a kind. Whenever Butch and I saw you, you always made us laugh. You certainly said what you wanted to and we admired you for that. Butch will forever be grateful for "teaching" him how to survive while he was on the road for the railroad. Especially how to live on popcorn and beer for a week!! It is hard to believe a 40 year friendship is over, but you certainly won't be forgotten. RIP our friend. You will be missed.

Bumper we sure are going to miss you. You were such a wonderful good hearted man and so much fun to be around. We really enjoyed our good times at the VFW and you were a fantastic commander. I will always remember my nickname you called me which was QVC queen and the laughs we had over Ethel the dishwasher. Tommy and I are going miss you so much. We love you Bump and RIP. A very special angel is in Heaven now. Melissa, Dean, Sherrie, Tammy, Katie and his two wonderful grandchildren, we are so very sorry for your loss of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Dear Melissa and family, we are so very, very sorry to lose Bumper. There wasn’t a time that he wouldn’t hug me and say “oh baby” while he was doing it, with that devilish laugh he had. He always made us smile regardless of the conversation, and my parents just thought he was the greatest guy. He must have everyone in stitches wherever he is now! We will see you next weekend. My condolences to Bumper's family. When spending summer's on Stetson Road with aunts, uncles and cousins, especially the cousins, Terry sisters and Ron Bechard, Bumper always joined us. What fun we had back then as teenagers. We were all family, Bumper included. I remember him with fondness.

Melissa and Family Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Although I never spent a lot of time in Rouses Point after I moved to Plattsburgh, I use to talk to bumper off and on when I lived there. He always had something funny he would talk about or some experience that he had. After that time when I would come up for a family event usually at the VF, I would also spend so time talking to bumper about all kind of things. He was such a great guy all of the time. He was always in a happy and upbeat mood. I will miss seeing him. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. Bumper will truly be missed by all who knew him and by the hearts that he touched through the years. I have many fond memories of Bumper and Barbara many years ago, We had so much fun together and Bumper was a person that would have helped anyone in need. He was a true friend.
