So very shocked and sorry to hear about Lynn. I only hiked with her once, in connection with my history research in the Horseshoe/Bog R area, and stayed one night with her and Mary.
But I will remember her always with fond memories. We had much in common!
All my love,
Mary

My husband and I really loved Lynn and Mary. We did 2 paddles with her and Mary and then our whole family hired the two of them two years ago and are still talking about it. The grandchildren esp. had fun. Please give our condolences to her family and Mary.

I am so saddened by what has happened. My heart is with all of Lynn's family and friends. Lynn touched so many of us through her passion for the outdoors, the trails and the waters. She and Mary welcomed me into their home many times, and I always felt welcome and comfortable. Lynn shared her passion with me on several excursions and I always knew she was as happy as I was to be in the woods or on the water. We have all lost a wonderful compassionate friend. I feel that Lynn is taken care of, her faith has taken care of her. But I will truly miss my friend.
Every thought of the Adirondacks leads me to think of you, Lynn. Thank you for the wonderful times, though few and far between, I will never forget you.
Love, Norma

Lynn will be missed by everyone who met her. She was overflowing with positive energy. You could feel it whenever she was near. Her kindness and affection for people was very rare. As a Guide, her knowledge, skills and nurturing ways made for an extraordinary experience for every client. What a great experience to know her. What great sadness to lose her from our daily lives. All members of NYSOGA know how much she did for us over the years. She gave so much of her time and energy to our organization and love to us as individuals.Truly an amazing and unforgettable person.

Our thoughts and prayers went initially to Lynn, praying for a successful recovery. It was really hard to believe that God needed her more than we did. Those same thoughts and prayers now rest with her family and friends to help us all get through this very difficult time. Everyone who had the privilege of knowing Lynn knew what type of person she was... humble, kind, sincere, compassionate, helpful, giving, faithful, unselfish, consoling, understanding, and the list goes on and on. She was the kind of person you will not soon forget. Her big smile, welcoming words, and hugs were always present whether it was your first or one millionth time you got together. She shared her outdoor world with so many lucky people. Lynn came into our lives as a fellow guide. She was able to use her knowledge to help all members of the New York State Outdoor Guides Association [NYSOGA] in so many ways. We will sure miss Lynn but her fond memory will live with us for years to come.
Lynn... thanks for being part of our life. Mary and Craig

It's so hard to believe you're gone, dear friend, but I have so many wonderful memories of the times we got to hike together, both in Colorado and out in NY. What a gift you have been to so many. I will always here your encouraging voice in my ear as I hike. Enjoy your reunion with Bobby and Gidget.
