Robert W. Rosen (Buddy) passed away on May 29, 2018 at Elderwood Living Center in Lake Placid, NY. He was born January 31, 1927 in Scranton, PA. Son of the late Robert O. Rosen, Buddy was educated in Scranton Public Schools and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was employed as a mechanic at the Chamberlain Army Ammunition Plant in Scranton for over thirty-five years.
He was predeceased by his wife Jean, who passed away on March 1, 2018, and is survived by a daughter, June Fava, Reading, PA, a son Bob and wife Marilyn, Jay, NY, and a son Bruce and wife Margaret, Oxford, PA. He was blessed to have seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and was predeceased by one granddaughter.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He and Jean enjoyed traveling in their motor home and camping, especially at Myrtle Beach, SC, every fall.
There are no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
