Margaret (Peggy) L. Jewtraw, of Lake Placid, NY passed away on August 16, 2018, at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington Vermont at the age of 83 after a short battle with cancer. Margaret was born on June 8, 1935 in Moriah, NY. She enjoyed spending time playing Bingo, going to the Casino, shopping, traveling, playing pinochle with her sisters & friends. playing 5 cent Bingo at the High Rise & spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, James (Cathy) Jewtraw, Deborah (Lenny) Sweeney, Patricia (Glenn) Mullarney, Doris Jewtraw, Cheryl (Rick) Dudley, Gene Jewtraw & companion Pam & David Jewtraw. She was predeceased by her parents Peter & Margaret Kelly, her husband James "Sonny" Jewtraw, grandson Kyle Sweeney, granddaughters Lisa Dudley & Gracee Jewtraw. She leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Calling Hours for family and friends will be held Monday, August 20 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the M.B. Clark, Inc., Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 21 at 10:00 AM. at St. Agnes Church with Rev. John Yonkovig officiating. Burial to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery. A reception will immediately follow at the American Legion in Lake Placid.
