Our best to the Wescott Family-
May you be comforted by knowing Ruthie & Guy had lives well lived. True angels in our midst they were and now they are risen... Tod, it was heartening you see you in the Big City between your adventure back across to the other coast, after paying homage to your Mom upon her passing and seeing your Placid acceptance of your Mom’s parting ... She was truly so proud of her ice warriors, all. Though our hairs are now more grey, than long, and less blond, as was your case in the Arena. One day past, it was you flying thru the plexiglass against Ogdensburg, as I seem to recall, stronger once hit. Nothing has ever really held a Wescott down, on the ice or off, to our collective knowledge. Just rising stronger, higher and faster than before... Gibby Lyon would make such a call on the mike, as he did that one game, so few years ago it seems... Great memories...
All our best,
Kent and my Huntington brothers of Wilmington

Sending my condolences to the Wescott family. Many memories of Mrs Wescott growing up. And lots more seeing here around Lake Placid in the years after. And of course the fun years working with your dad at the Olympic Center hearing about all of your adventures. They are now together to watch every step you take.

So sad to hear of Mrs. Wescott’s passing. Great memories of her cheering us on during all those hockey games. Snowy road trips and cold weather never stopped your Mom and Dad. May the Rest In Peace.

So sorry to read about Mre Wescotts passing. I had great memories of her when I played with the older sons when they lived on Sentinel Road and also on the Main Street house on the hill. She was grand laddy. RIP

I am so sorry to hear that Aunt Ruth passed away. I actually had not seen her the past couple of years that I was in Placid but she was always so sweet and always asked about my whole family whenever I did see her. My condolences to all of you guys. I often think of our football games on Sundays down at Grandma and Grandpa Wescott's. We did have fun.
