I welcome the opportunity to pass on my sympathy to Janet and her daughters, Abby & Cora with whom I had the GREAT pleasure of singing & acting with in MANY plays & concerts during our years at LPHS. Mr. Clark was ALWAYS sincere & kind to ALL the Family friend. He was well respected & looked up to by MOST residents of the Town of North Elba as an EXCELLENT Town Clerk & Town Supervisor! Would love to reconnect with Cora & Abby - to share some memories & catch up. I miss them SO much! RIP Mr. Clark. You will truly be missed!

I remember Mr. Clark as the wonderful North Elba Town Clerk for YEARS under the best Supervisor, Jack Shea and then as the Supervisor himself! We were SO happy whenMatt became Supervisor. He was the MOST deserving and knowledgable Gentleman for that elected position. Like Mr. Shea, the North Elba residents came FIRST! He will truly be missed.

To Janet and the whole Clark family. I wanted to send my thoughts, prayers, and condolences to all of you. Mr Clark was an amazing man who meant so much to the local area and positively impacted so many people. All of his great children are a tribute to the kind of father he was. My husband Bob and Matt would frequently meet at the Clark Funeral Home. There they would lighten the mood by joking about who would be next. Bob won that bet. I bet they are joking about it again up in Heaven. God Bless, Shirley

I have so many memories of Uncle Matt that its hard to pick one that really stands out. I can remember riding a 3 wheeler with Zach and Will throught their house until we just couldnt do it anymore. Playing hockey in the driveway and the in the yard next to the big window to the living room with Uncle Matt watching. There are so many more that will always stay right close to me and bring a smile to my face. Thank You for everything, I will miss you so very much. Please say HI to dad for me and you both can watch over US. Godspeed Uncle Matt.

Several of my fondest memories involving Uncle Matt came when I would stop by the Town Hall asking for a "free" fishing license while on leave. He would be in the office, cigar close by and we would talk. I remember the conversation about a dodge van he had just purchased and how he really enjoyed that he could set the seat for when he drove at the touch of a button. It had to be around 1998 or so. Not known to many, I spent a lot of time with Zach, Will and family while my brother Mark had surgeries on his eye. I always felt loved and cared for during the stays with Uncle Matt, Aunt Janet and family. It meant a lot then-and obviously now as I reflect on those days. I am very grateful that I was able to visit Uncle Matt this summer at the alumni banquet but saddened that commitments to activities leading to the activation of DDG1000 require me to remain at home during the funeral. God Bless you and your family.
