Steven G Reid 58, of Wes Valley Rd, Lake Placid, NY died unexpectedly at UVM Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont on March 3, 2019.
Steve is survived by his wife Lisa and his sons Timothy, Nicholas, and Connor. His two sisters Maggie Little and Elizabeth Koch. He is preceded in death by his mother Irene Kennelly and father Edwin Reid, his brothers Edward, Ken, Bob and sister Beatrice.
Steve was born on February 2nd, 1961 in Star Lake, NY to Edwin Reid and Irene Kennelly. Steve graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1986 with a degree in Business Management. Steve married Lisa Vespa, his Villa Vespa sweetheart on April 21st, 1990. After moving to Massena, New York, Steve began working for S.S Pierce. Steve was a member of the foodservice sales force for over 30 years, his most recent employment being with U.S Foods.
Calling Hours will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at M. B. Clark lnc., Funeral Home in Lake Placid. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Father John R Yonkovig will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Steve's life. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to local animal shelters or the Lake Placid Outing Club.
