Marcy was a true pioneer in Early Childhood Education in the North Country.She was a role model and well respected educator. As an emerging teacher at BOCES and the parent of a child with disabilities Marcy was of the greatest support and assistance. On a personal level, Marcy and I shared a deep love for pets. Our conversations were always wide ranging and always interesting. I loved that she often drank hot water and had unique snacks and lunches. I loved her calm demeanor, her clear vision, her wealth of knowledge and her genuine kindness. She was extremely humble about her skills and accomplishments. She was a true treasure. My thoughts are with your family. I am sure there are many staff, parents and students at BOCES who remember Marcy with respect and fondness.
