Obituary of Leonard Frank Garrand

Leonard Frank Garrand, 67, of Rouses Point died peacefully May 26, 2019 at UVM-CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, NY surrounded by his family. He was born January 27, 1952, son of the late Ernest and Dora (Forkey) Garrand.

Leonard was a graduate of NCCS class of 1970 and resided at Bechard’s Senior Housing in Rouses Point. He enjoyed car shows and watching sports, especially the New York Yankees and New York Giants.

Including his parents, Leonard is predeceased by his infant daughter Jill Diane, his sister Joan Carter, a brother-in-law Donald Dube, and nephew Johnny Crim.

He is survived by his siblings: Theresa (Val) Petersen, Elizabeth (Paul) Lavigne, Edward (Brenda) Garrand, Elaine (Noel) LaValley, Gerald (Linda) Garrand, Leon (Ruby) Garrand, Beverly Dube, Doris Buskey (Ed), Deborah Myatt (Gene), Marilyn Garrand (Terry), and Sandra (Paul) Ashline.

There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be announced at a future date to take place at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Mooers Forks, NY. Arrangements are in the care of M. B. Clark Funeral Home in Rouses Point, NY.
