Obituary of Denise Marie Gooley

Denise Marie Gooley, 70 years of age, born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, has passed away on June 18th at CVPH surrounded by family. 

Denise is survived by her spouse Wayne Gooley and her children Melissa and Anthony Gooley and one grandchild Reid Russell. 

She is preceded in death by her father Edward Larsen, mother Muriel Peryea, and brother Gabriel. 

Denise left her job as a nutritionist at CVPH to watch over and care for her children. She enjoyed reading to them and taking  them on long adventurous walks. She also was an avid biker, country music fan and word cross enthusiast. Denise also loved torturing her husband with lifetime movies. She adored her two dogs, Zoe and Caesar. Later in life, she became a resident of Clinton County Nursing Home where she was beloved by all. She never complained once about anything or anyone. She will definitely miss her regular visits from her friend Sharon Lacoursiere, and her "boyfriend" Pierre Lacoursiere. She will be missed by many.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to ICU department at CVPH.   We appreciate all you have done for Denise and the family.   We are eternally grateful.

There will be no calling hours. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at St. Mary’s Church in Champlain, followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Church Street. Arrangements are in the care of M. B. Clark Funeral Home in Champlain.
