Joan; May you rest in peace knowing so many people love and miss you. You will always be a wonderful memory of my younger years when we would all get together in Medina and here in Syracuse. Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Joanie for years when she worked for The Gift Corner and I worked for The Yum Yum Tree. The memories and the laughs we shared are something I think about often. My parents lived far away at that time--Joanie stepped in when my mother would have many, many times. What a wonderful lady she was.

Dear Warren and Family, I am keeping you all in prayer as you celebrate the life of Joanie. I was good friends to Bert years ago when she and I worked together at Paul Smiths College. It was then I was introduced to the 'kids' when they would come north to visit. We were all blessed by Joanie's life and her kindness to others. Her taking Warren as her groom only added joy to the family and it was always adventurous to partake in their 'stories of life'. She was a great Mom and caretaker and lover of animals but most of all she sure enjoyed her service to the community and loved all she met. Greatly missed and greatly admired. You have my heart sympathy at this time.

This certainly knocked the wind from my heart. So blessed to know this woman and her family. One of My dearest friends. Sandy I’m so sorry and so sad for you all. so sorry to hear of Joannie's passing. she was a favorite cousin of mine and I remember many wonderful times spent with her when we were young and later with her and warren on a recent visit to lake placid with Andy and Jackie. we had a lot of laughs. rip. prayers for all the family. love to all jill
