Obituary Rene Castonguay On August 17th 2019, a tragic automobile accident took the life of a very special man. At 62 years old, Rene Castonguay went to join his late wife Francine Daigle in heaven. He was the son of Agathe Blanchet and late Gerard Castonguay. Rene leaves behind his son, Mathieu Castonguay, his wife Ashleigh Macey, and two grandchildren, Grayson and Juliette. He also leaves behind his four siblings, along with many other extended family members and friends. He will be missed by so many people who he has touched throughout his life. He was a caring, passionate, and loving man. His sudden departure will leave an empty space in many hearts.
A service will be held at the M. B. Clark, Inc., Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NYon Saturday September 7th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A small reception will take place following the service at Lake Placid Pub and Brewery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation towards the Lake Placid Volunteer Fire Department or the Lake Placid Volunteer Ambulance Services.
