Dear Joan. I am so sorry for your loss. Jimmy was my closest friend growing up and I have so many fond memories of him and of your family. I wish I had stayed in touch with him over the years, my fault and something I will regret forever.
Please let Kim know my thoughts are with her and of course, with you and your family.
First thing Jimmy taught me, besides how to shoot a wrist shot? How to ride a snowmobile, out back behind your house on many of my visits as a teenager. Best memories were with hockey of course. The road trips with you, my mom Joyce, and Jimmy. Riding up to the next game or going to buy some skates up in Massena. During every hockey practice, Jimmy and I always took 5 minutes of play time, 1 on 1 in a corner with a puck, playing keep away. The goal was to ride along the boards with the puck while the other laid in some heavy checks to get the man off the puck. We would get to laughing so much as I attempted to rail him into the boards.

As your mom I am seeing the hell your going through losing not only the person who was you dad daddy best friend. Anyone that truly knew your dad knew you were his world. He always had your back and loved you beyond words. You hold your head high knowing that. I love you and know he was your world.
