I just learned of my dear sweet Joanie’s passing . I’m so sorry for your loss . To walk into the restaurant and not see that beautiful smile coming from her in her corner will surely be missed . To all of the Joan and Ed Kane Family Our thoughts, prayers and memories are shared with all of you. You are all in my thoughts. How she loved each and everyone of you! My memories go back to 1982 at the Artist’s Cafe. What fun the four of us had. Joan always at the door except when In the kitchen checking the soup.Thanksgiving dinner for a mob one year.....lots of small ice cream sundaes......lots of smiles for everyone. I miss her and feel privileged to have had her as a friend all these years. RIP, Joan. Penny Dieffenbach
