Obituary of David Scott Alford

David Scott Alford April 30 1964- July 24, 2020 David Alford of Port Aransas Texas died Friday July 24, 2020 peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with cancer. David is survived by his father, Malcolm Alford, his mother and stepfather, Betty and George Gagnepain, and his siblings, Amy Alford Liverio and Edward Alford. David always loved life no matter where he lived. His friends spread from Lake Placid, New York to Ocean City, Maryland to Port Aransas, Texas. All of them will remember him as a great chef, a hard worker with a great sense of humor, and a true friend. David was in the Air Force and was considered a hero in Ocean City Maryland for saving a bus full of people when the driver had a heart attack. I know many people will have fond memories and good stories to tell about Dave. There will be a graveside service held at North Elba Cemetery in Lake Placid, NY at a later date at the convenience of the family. The M. B.
