Sincere Sympathy to Dr.Joe and family, Dan and I remember little Joe when he was a young boy running around the office always with a smile and when he grew to be a wonderful young man and started job shadowing with Mom and Dad. Our son Patrick had the opportunity to meet Joe in Lake Placid. Besides receiving excellent adjustments, he always enjoyed talking to him about all the exciting things in life that they had experienced and what they looked forward to experiencing.

We will always remember the smiles and hugs whenever we’d come into the office. We made Joseph banana bread muffins for his birthday not knowing that he loves banana bread. Joseph, the Ginger Goat, got introduced to barefoot mountain hiking (from James) and he whomped all those peaks in record time. James has funny and beautiful memories of the peaks you did together barefoot. Joseph was always so open to learn about new things, whether that be Karen’s experiments with new pillows, the Hip Hook or sharing her latest CrossFit and skating adventures, or James sticking patches on him during the hike.
To us it seemed like Joseph did so much and experienced so much in such a short period of time. We are still inspired. He lived and enjoyed a very full life and loved sharing his special outings with Rhiannon and family.

We are so deeply saddened to learn of Joseph's passing. Dr. Joseph touched our lives three years ago when I came to his practice with debilitating knee pain in which he and Dr. Rhiannon quickly corrected for me and so graciously also cared for my children prior to us moving south. My children adored Dr. Joseph and loved visiting with him and learning about the fish in his aquarium. Rest in peace, Joseph, you are greatly missed by all that were blessed enough to meet you even if for just a short time.

I met Joseph a couple of years ago and had a hip problem. Joseph made me always feel like he was a close friend. Always a hug when I came for my appointment and always very personal. Joseph's kind and generous heart was ever so apparent from the very first time we met him when we brought my daughter in after she was unable to walk and he and Rhiannon came out to my car to physically remove her and bring her inside for the beginning of many treatments. Have know Dr. Joseph Clauss for 3 years...Loved him and his wife as we went to their place for Chiropratic help...Always so caring and kind and always made you feel so loved and caring...Knew his Dad and Mom , as went their also many years....sending our Love, Hugs, & Prayers...Rhinannon know we're here for you if you ever need someone to talk to...as you were always there for us. I am so sorry for your loss .I get to knowing him not for long just 3 years since I moved to Lake Placid and be coming his patient .He was a great funny guy and also kind .He took Emma couple times ski ,she always was saying.. Joseph told me this that . And on every visit he got her favorite gum.He let her helps with Christmas light and plant vegetables in garden .He know Emma’s father passed away .He did all this out of his kindness .People like him make me like part of the Town and community.Emma admired Him .We will miss you for all that but we will never forget your kindness to us .RIP Joseph

Having only known him through being his patient, he made you feel like you were old friends. He would remember all the small details you would share with him about your life while he’s taking care of you. He was also so cheerful and warm. I will miss our visits and chats.
