Paulette June Fay Passed away peacefully with her son and daughter at her side at "Elderwood of Uihlein at Lake Placid" on January 8 2021 in her 73rd year. She is predeceased by her parents Rev. Joseph and Mabel Hunting and David, her beloved husband of 43 years. Paulette graduated from Middleburg, High School, Middleburg, NY. She worked as Nurses Aid at Eden Park Nursing Home, at Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid for several years then as Admitting Receptionist in the Emergency Dept at AMC, Saranac Lake for the 15 years prior to her retirement. She was a Volunteer at the Lake Placid Volunteer Ambulance Service and a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Lake Placid. She is survived by her children Rebecca Ramsay (Jonathan) of Napanee, Ontario, Canada and Jonathan Fay (Kim Marshall) of Lake Placid, NY. Loving remembered by grandchildren Clarinda, Josef, Jeremiah and Cairistine Ramsay along with Blake and Jenna Fay. Also survived by sisters Joanna Howell (David) of Mount Pleasant Mills, PA, Faith Wakefield (Emmett) of Hobe Sound, Florida and brother Wesley Hunting (Diane Atwell) of Salam, OH along with numerous nieces and nephews. A cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held when conditions permit. The M. B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY is in charge of arrangements.
