Mary always welcomed us with open arms.
During the mid sixties my brother Rick and I spent several summers with our dad, Dick Clark, and our stepmother, Mary. We were young teenagers with everything that goes along with that age. It could have been a time of turmoil, but we have wonderful memories of those years.
Dad & Mary fixed up the old building behind the house so we could sleep out there with our friends. Rick and Denny Allen claimed “the Shack” for one whole summer. No girls allowed!
Those were carefree days when we’d ride “upstreet” with Dad & Mary to get the paper at Ormsby’s, then stop by the funeral home to see Grandma Clark. Rick & I often headed up to the third floor where treasure waited to be discovered. Later, Mary would cook up a delicious meal and her special chocolate chip cookies for dessert.
We continued to visit Mary after Dad passed away and she always shared a good story, lots of laughter, one of her teapots filled with comforting tea, and a homemade treat to enjoy.
During 2013-15 our mom battled cancer and Mary provided our family with her wholehearted support and hours of her time. She stood by us with comfort and love. Thank you, Mary! We will miss you but we know you are at peace and in our Dad’s loving company.
With Love & Appreciation,
Pam & Rick

Mary you sent me "delicious cookies" when I was just coming out my Coma, from my car accident. This memory stays with and will remain with me throughout eternity.

I worked with lovely Mary Clark in the Coordinated Care Unit in Elizabethtown for several years until she retired. She was elegant, caring and kind. She was quiet and dignified and a great nurse. She also had a great sense of humor and always called my husband the Lepreachaun once he found out he was of Irish heritage. We loved her then and love her still. God bless this wonderful person always.

Mary was a gifted nurse who cared with her heart first and her knowledge next. I remember the first time I met her and she smiled with her eyes. I knew then she was a special lady. Her kindness to many home bound seniors brought great comfort to families and she was an asset to the community. She lived a great life of giving and deserves a place of rest in the loving arms of our Lord. I will always remember Mary.....Until we meet again.
