Sandra Joan "Sandy" (Galipeau) Hatin, 85 of Champlain, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 12, 2021. She was born October 8, 1935 in Montpelier, Vermont to Lillian and Frank Galipeau.
Sandra worked 33 years at General Electric, and 22 years at UVM Medical Center formally known as Fletcher Allen. When Sandra wasn't working, she was doing something with horses. She was a horse enthusiast.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Raymond A. Hatin, daughters Candace L. Brockway and husband Douglas, Kim Bowen and husband Mick, step-daughter Tania (Hatin) Bright, siblings Frank Galipeau and wife Christine, Donna Galipeau, Pam Kerr and husband Jack, Sharon Busier and husband Conrad, and Stephen Galipeau and wife Deenie.
Sandra had 7 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, and is predeceased by her son Bradley W. Spear.
Sandra will be missed by many loved by all for "patience, perseverance, and fairness."
A service will be held on Saturday, June 19 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at M. B. Clark Funeral Home, 148 Lake St., Rouses Point NY, 12979 as well as a celebration of life to follow. Please ask any family member for the address of the celebration of life.
