Larry F. Brockway, Sr., age 67, of Station Street, Lake Placid, NY passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Brockway was born February 1, 1946 in Malone, NY. He was the son of the late Ernest and the late Colleen (LaFave) Brockway.

Larry was owner and operator of Brockway Foundations, building foundations for many families throughout the Adirondack region and Malone, NY. Larry enjoyed collecting antiques especially collecting and restoring antique cars. He loved to spend time with his family at his family's camp property, watching the deer and other wildlife.

He is survived by his wife: Peggy (Sears) Brockway of Lake Placid, NY; one son, Larry Brockway, Jr. and his wife Heather of Lake Placid, NY; one brother, David Brockway and his wife Holly of Moira, NY; three sisters, Gloria Brockway of Kentucky, Mary Langmaid and her husband Bud of Texas and Patty Degon and her husband Roger of Missouri. Larry was predeceased by his parents; and one brother, Gerald Brockway who died in 1978.

He is also survived by four grandchildren, Devin Brockway, Samantha Jubin, Michaela Borachok and Miranda Borachok; sixteen nieces and nephews, Amy, Darci, Dexter, Michael, Marcy, Melanie, Patrick, Todd, Christina, Heather, Misty, Jennifer, Shawn, Steven, Stephanie, and Tucker and several great nieces and nephews.

Calling hours and funeral service will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

The Brockway family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Claude Roland, Dr. Christopher Hyson and Mr. Richard Cummings for always being there at the time of the family's need.
