Obituary of Jeremy D. W. Patrie

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Jeremy David Wilfred Patrie, of Rouses Point, NY. He passed peacefully at UVM-CVPH on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at the age of 45. Jeremy, born on December 19, 1975, married the love of his life, his soul mate, Starr Lynn (Ashline) Patrie on July 12, 2019. They shared a world full of light, warmth, and love. They were blessed to spend their cherished time together traveling and sharing their deep affection for each other. Jeremy and Starr appreciated their gift of finding that once in a lifetime mate, and honored that by showing each other every day with acts of love, loyalty, and commitment. Jeremy was a beautiful soul, taken too soon. He was full of kindness, humor, and love. He loved baseball, hockey, and was an avid bowler. He loved to travel, was adventurous, and had a passion for the outdoors. Jeremy was so talented on so many levels and could do anything he set his heart to. He loved working with his hands and helping others. He was young and full of life, spirituality, and great faith. Jeremy loved his wife, children, and family with his heart and soul. He was and always will be immensely treasured. Jeremy is survived by his beloved wife, Starr Patrie; his father, Deacon Leonard Patrie; his adored children: Alexander Patrie, Thomas Patrie, Abigail Patrie, and Kaylee Patrie; his step-children, Kayla Graves and Lily Reed; his siblings, Rachel Brinson, Julie Ashline, Randall Patrie, and their families. Jeremy is predeceased by his mother, Amy (Willette) Patrie; his maternal grandparents, Cleophas and Alfreda Willette; and his paternal grandparents, Leonard and Bernadette Patrie. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church in Champlain at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 29, 2021. The Mass will be followed with an interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
