It was my great pleasure to have worked closely with Dot for many years at Northwood School. She was an exceedingly intelligent and empathetic teacher. Dot was equally effective teaching groups or individuals because of her keen insight into the minds of teenagers. Countless numbers of students were unabashed in their praises of Mrs. Taube for her compassion and dedication to their learning. She de-mystified complex math concepts and significantly simplified the SAT and ACT exams for hundreds of otherwise intimidated test-takers.
Many times Dot and I would simply talk shop about the school business. Her insights and perceptions regarding curriculum, faculty and students were always welcome and on the mark. Her professionalism and dedication to her craft were examples for us all.
She will be fondly remembered and loved.
