Dear Julie and Family,
We can only imagine the heartbreak that you all are going through now, in losing Jimmy.
One day I was in K~mart in Plattsburgh, looking for a BB Grill to buy. I found one and it was all assembled! I wanted it, I told the salesman "But, it won't fit in my car. I'll come back for it." All of a sudden, I hear this big booming voice, saying, "Heather, get it. I have my truck and I'll bring it to your house, I'm going right by it. It'll fit in the bed fine." It was Jimmy. I said "Oh no, I can't have you do that. I'll just come up later in the week with John, to pick it up." He said "Yes, you can have me do it." I was so grateful that he offered and I told him that I was going to buy him a case of beer. He said "Oh no you're not. It's no problem and besides, I don't drink." HA HA! That was him, always with a smile, a kind word or a gesture. He then introduced me to his little, "Zeb" Julius that was with him and beamed, with so much pride and love.
RIP Jimmy.

I'm sorry to hear of Jimmy passing. He was always joking with me at Hannaford in Lake Placid when I was working up there. I'll never forget him teasing me about joining our family when young Jimmy married Whitney.

If you were lucky enough to know Jim, you were lucky enough.
Hardworking, kind-hearted, tender under his tough shell, always ready to tell an off-color joke or story from the golden days of live bands and fun old LP bars.
I am grateful every day to be a part of Jim's family- married in, but with his full blessing. If he loved you he wasn't shy about telling you... I think we all need to remind those around us how much we love them more often, while we still can. "Little" Jimmy was his dad's number one sidekick (until Julius came along to steal his heart) and I was so lucky to ride along for coffee, people-watching and talks about life. I dare anyone to find a better father-in-law!

The BeaneyFamily, I am sorry for your loss. I have many good memories of Jim. When he worked at Lamb Lumber he would always offer his help whenever I would stop in for something, he had more knowledge than I did . I also spent many an interesting evening working with Jim at many of the ORDA concerts from the past, as well as some of “The Stars on Ice Shows”. Jim had a good sense of humor and he had many a good story to tell. I would always enjoy running into Jim around town and catching up on stories & family. I regret not having our paths crossing these past few years . I did enjoy catching up with him at his sons wedding. Bob Brown
