Obituary of Cheley Ann Witte
Please share a memory of Cheley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
After a three year battle with cancer, Cheley Witte passed away February 14, 2022 at the age of 70. With the love and support of her friends and family, she had the strength to fight courageously and with grace.
Proud of the life and home she built with her late husband, William Witte, Cheley loved entertaining on her sun filled back porch, tending her gardens and playing with her grandchildren.
Cheley is survived by her two sons and their partners, Adrian Cieri and Kylie Rosette, Bear Cieri and Virginia Toohey; two grandchildren Olivia and Griffin Cieri; her partner Timothy McCaskill; step son, Douglas Witte; brother, Robert Modliszewski, sister and brother-in-law June and Allan Belmont; brother and sister-in-law Richard and Donna Modliszewski. Her survivors also include 9 nieces and nephews, their husbands and wives, and their children.
We would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, particularly the nurses in the Oncology department. Their tenderness, professionalism and good care are very much appreciated and helped shepherd Cheley through a very difficult time in her life.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers please send donations to your favorite charity.
The M. B. Clark, Inc., Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY is in charge of arrangements. Relatives and friends wishing to share a memory or leave condolences please visit www.mbclarkfuneralhome.com
