Dr. Southwick, was a terrific man and a Doctor. I called on him For 25 years, as a Lilly rep, I always looked forward to see him. He talked about all the cars he had around the area and how he love baseball, May he RIP.

From the antique car community our association with this wonderful man is full of memories. Here is a picture of John and I at the Waterbury (Stowe), VT VAE Show in 2021 where we were next door neighbors for about 40 years. Watching John's family enjoy a week together, swimming in the river, swapping stories, and knowing the generations as they joined is a real privilage. The dynamic trio, Vic, Arnie & John are together again prowling around for goodies. Mark and Steve, thank you for sharing your Dad.

My mother, Ethel Tifft Underwood, was Dr. Southwick’s office nurse at what she always called “the Medical Center” for 25 years, a long time ago. She has been gone since January 15, 1994 but I know she would want me to acknowledge that she thought the world of him and his family and deeply respected the years he gave caring for his community.

Dr. John was a terrific doctor. I worked with him at CV Hospital and CVPH for 30+ years. He was a brilliant man, always a smile, he diagnosed cancer before the specimen was sent to the lab. In the70s he was my father's doctor as he battled cancer. He always went above and beyond to keep him comfortable including house calls. He was my husband and mom's doctor as well as mine. He would look forward to my mom's beautifully wrapped goodie box at Christmas
Some how he could always find a way to sneak a couple of goodies on the way back to Champlain and still have it arrive with wrapping in tact. He was a very special man and will be missed by many.
