Obituary of Catherine F. Boyer

Catherine F. Boyer, 66, a lifelong resident of Lake Placid, passed away at Adirondack Medical Center on April 20th, 2022. Born Catherine F. Beattie to the late George and Francis (Snow) Beattie of Lake Placid, NY. Cathy was the wife of Richard B. Boyer, he predeceased her June 11, 2016. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Jeremy) Mihill, granddaughter Joslyn and grandson Jarrett Mihill of Lake Placid, NY, and family by marriage Clark Boyer of Averill Park, NY, Robert, and Ronna Boyer, of Naples, Fl and Lake Placid, NY, Michelle Doyle of Springfield, MO, Kathleen Adams, of Rough and Ready, CA, Mark Boyer of Smyrna, GA, David Boyer, Bend, OR. Best known as a homemaker and loving Grandmother, Cathy was always supportive of the grandchildren's wish and was there to make sure their needs were met, whether traveling to go shopping or site seeing trips to various attractions. After graduating Lake Placid High School in 1974, Cathy was employed by Roy's Electric and various restaurants in Lake Placid, always brought a unique personality to workplace and customers. A true Lake Placid resident who believed the best was the village she lived in, and there was no better place to be found to spend your life. The children's wishes is to thank all those who stopped by to check-in with Cathy to see if they could help her with travel, paperwork, or minor household assistance. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 26th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the M. B. Clark, Inc. funeral home in Lake Placid, NY. A prayer service will follow at 6:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev.
