Jeanne B. Brennan, age 92 of Rouses Point, NY passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family after a short illness.

She was born in Champlain, daughter of the late Flora (Flore Anna Bouchard) and Honorius Gregoire.

On September 24th, 1949, she married the love of her life, James J. Brennan. He predeceased her on July 29, 1998.

Jeanne had a great love and a strong sense of responsibility for her family and friends. She possessed remarkable physical strength and moral character. Her inner strength allowed her to keep her independence through the very last days of her life.

Jeanne enjoyed walking, dancing, reading, the Senior Center, St. Patrick’s Church activities, visiting Chateaugay Lake, and taking great pride in being able to maintain her home. She enjoyed every minute spent with her family and friends. She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church. Her faith was an important part of her life, it helped her face difficulties that would arise, and she prayed for everyone she loved every day.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Brennan (Ron Quesnel), and Donna Spellman (Bill). She is also survived by three grandchildren, Chantel Giroux (Kyle Benecasa), Gabrielle LeBoeuf (Joe) and Ian Spellman (Jennifer), three Great Grandchildren, Cozette Miller, Adalynn LeBoeuf, and Aubrianna Spellman, one sister, Rita Johnson, and one brother, Dennis Gregoire, also by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters, Gertrude O’Neil, Pauline Lammers, and Doris Lucille; and seven brothers, Maurice (Mike), Gerard, her twin brother Jean (Johnny), Marcel, Leo, Emile and Donald.

A funeral Mass will be held for Jeanne at St. Patrick’s Church on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM, followed by her burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
