Obituary of Arnold A. Duprey

Arnold A. Duprey, 83, of Champlain, NY, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2022 at his home with his loved ones by his side along with Hospice Nurse Heather Newell. Rev. William Reamer did the blessing and Janis Carlin did a reading from Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. Arnold was born in Town of Chazy to Richard & Pearl (LaFountain) Duprey on February 19, 1939. He worked for Altona & Mooers Highway Department for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed tinkering with his Farmhall tractors and his hit-and-miss (putt, putt) engines. Arnold is survived by his wife, Gale of 64 years, his sons John and Robin Duprey of Gouverneur, NY, William Duprey and David Sr. Duprey of Mooers, NY, his daughter Charmaine and son-in-law Jeff Martin of Champlain, his grandchildren Kim Miller, David Jr. Duprey and Eric Duprey, his sisters Betty, Phyllis and Shirley and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Donald & Arthur, his son Gary on February 4th, 1995. Arnold will be missed deeply by his loved ones. Memorial donations in memory of Arnold may be made to Hospice of the North Country, 358 Tom Miller Rd, Plattsburgh, NY 12901. Funeral service will be private as per Arnold's wishes.
