Obituary of Daniel Gagnon

Please share a memory of Daniel to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Daniel Gagnon October 6, 1921-June 23, 2022 Daniel (Dan) Gagnon was born in Tupper Lake, NY, to Joseph & Regina (Bernier) Gagnon on October 6, 1921, the youngest of 5 children. He lived in the Tupper Lake/Lake Placid area his entire life. He worked for many years at the Oval Wood Dish in Tupper Lake until it closed, then worked for the Lake Placid Club for many more years. Until he was 95 years old, his favorite thing to do was to walk the trail around Mirror Lake every day. He could outwalk his walking partners, who were mostly much younger, and he loved that! He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Regina; his brothers Billy (Oahu, HI) and Joe (Cheyenne, WY), and his sisters Lorena and Rose (Tupper Lake, NY). He is survived by one niece, Margaret Frias, of Oahu, Hawaii and two nephews, Joseph Miner, of Cortland, NY and Francis Miner, of Andover, NJ and many grand nieces and nephews. The family requests any donations be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, as Dan was a regular donor. The M. B. Clark, Inc., Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY is in charge of arrangements.
