Dear Frank and Denis…my deepest sympathy to you both. I remember David very well several years ago…time marches on and last saw him at St. Regis Falls School centennial..have photo of him with his little daughter and others at celebration. I'll forever remember the long list of great times and adventures shared with Ploofy. Skiing at Cascade XC, Van Ho, and the back country. Bike trips, including trips to Donnelly's on opening day. Dozens of running races of all varieties. Such a dear friend, I'll miss him tremendously, as will the Adirondack community he so impacted.

To say that David Ploof was a G.O.A T. ( Greatest Of All Time ) in his field was spot on. David was always on his game at the bar. Always had a dry sense of humor. He always said hello even if he was running. He will be missed. He's up in heaven mixing and doing his thing. My condolences Molly. We lost a good one. RIP Dave Ploof.

So sorry to read about David's passing. First knew him when we worked for the Olympic Committee, and enjoyed talking about running with him as he knew two of my brothers who were also avid runners. Always our favorite bartender when he was at Nicola's Over Main. Our condolences to Molly and the Ploof family. RIP kind man.

Many fond memories of David ( we called him Buzzy ) as teenagers growing up in St Regis Falls. He had a lot of close friends and we had shared good times. He will me missed. RIP Buzzy. Jack Fadden
