Rouses Point
Hazel J. Dickinson, 96, formerly of Massena, NY, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the home of her sister in Rouses Point, NY surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mooers, NY February 2, 1917 daughter of the late Harry and Bertha (Curtis) Alger.
Hazel was a resident of Massena for many years where she was very active in the Methodist Church. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting and sewing. For many years, Hazel, enjoyed spending the winters in Florida with family.
Her loving family includes her sister, Alberta Nolette of Rouses Point, two sisters-in-law, Helena Alger of Plattsburgh and Lillian Alger of Sidney, NY, her granddaughters Lindsey Dickinson and Mary Dickinson both of Lowville, KY and many nieces and nephews.
Also surviving is a special nephew Richard Nolette and his wife Darlene of Champlain, and their sons Eric, Cory and Kacy who have all provided many hours of love and comfort to Hazel.
In addition to her parents, Hazel was predeceased by her husband Arnold T. Dickinson, her son Donald A. Dickinson, and five brothers Foster, Harrison, Robert, Howard and Richard.
