Marilyn Chuba passed away in ADK Health of Saranac Lake on the morning of Jan 4, 2023 with her loving husband by her side.
She was born in Troy, NY on May 31, 1948. She was predeceased by her mother Sarah, and sisters Judy and Olive. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Terry, her children Terry Jr., and Sara, her three grandchildren, Griffeon, Gabriel, and Elizabeth Rose, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lyn graduated from Mechanicville High School in 1966, and went on to Hudson Valley Community College. She married in Tijuana, Mexico, and spent a year long honeymoon residence in Southern California. When returning to New York, she worked in the lab at Albany Medical Center.
Moving to Saranac Lake in 1975, she was employed at W. Alton Jones Cell Science Center as a lab technician, then advanced, on to Bionique Testing Laboratories, retiring there supervising the specialized scientific staff as Lab Director.
Her main interest and love was spending time with her family. She also invested her considerable intellectual passions voraciously consuming thousands of books of fictional literature, and forever challenging herself to the completion of countless New York Times weekend crossword puzzles.
