Shirley S. LaMoy, 88, of Lake Placid, NY died peacefully Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, NY. Mrs. LaMoy was born May 23, 1934 in Lake Placid, NY. She is the daughter of the late Leon P. and the late Lena R. (Rivers) Strack. She is survived by her husband Raymond LaMoy of Lake Placid, NY and her son, R. Daniel LaMoy of Albany, NY. Shirley was predeceased by two sons, Douglas and Andrew LaMoy. She is also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Shirley was a Veteran serving from 1952 to 1956 in the United States Navy as a nurse. There are no calling hours. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The M. B. Clark, Inc.
