Harland was not only my neighbor, but a true friend. He was a wonderful man with a terrific sense of humor. Harland was always there to lend a helping hand. I miss him dearly, and love him. He was a father figure for all the neighborhood kids to look up to. Harland my friend, I want to thank you, for the many years of incredible friendship. All the card games, boat rides with your best friend Bill and Kelly. Thank you, for your advice. And thank you, so much for always supporting my life decisions, even if you thought I was making a bad choice. I'm hoping you're playing cards, and remember all the fun we all used to have. I'm glad to had the chance to have my lasagna. I love you, my old friend. Enjoy a "porkchop in a bottle" (only friends and neighbors understood this phrase lol) wherever you are, and send my love to Bill and Kelly who parted before you left us.
