It is with great sadness that we learned of Sue Ellen’s passing. She and Bob were dear friends of ours for many years. Sue Ellen and I shared many interests and had several mutual friends. We were both active in the AuSable Valley Garden Club, and Democratic Women’s organization. My husband Frank and I enjoyed many dinners with Sue Ellen and Bob, at their home, at our home, at Garden Club luncheons, and political fund raisers and candidate forums. After Bob passed away, Sue Ellen gave us some flowering plants from her garden, and every summer I sent her a picture of the plants in bloom in our garden.
She was a wonderful friend, a very caring person, who had a wonderful family and many good friends. She will be greatly missed by so many.
