Kenneth Walter Seymour, Jr., 87, passed away April 6, 2023 at Elderwood of Uihlein at Lake Placid. He was born in Saranac Lake on July 12th, 1935 and spent all of his life in Saranac Lake or Lake Placid.  Ken married Elizabeth Smart of Lake Placid in 1986 where they lived happily on Northwoods Road for many years. He is survived by his daughter Lorrie of Great Barrington, MA, his son Kenneth of Cincinnati OH, his son James of Peru NY, a step-daughter Deborah Amis of Encinitas CA and 4 grandchildren as well as 1 great grandchild.  He was a self-employed housepainter that worked various jobs throughout his career in the tri-lakes. From painting for Mrs. Post at Camp Topridge to staining decks on Mirror Lake and everything in between.  When he wasn't painting, he could be found parked along the sides of most roadways in the area fishing for bookies or hunting rabbits with one of his hounds. He will miss his mountains and they will miss him.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Kenneth Walter Seymour Jr on May 26th, 2023 at 12:00PM at St Agnes Church in Lake Placid NY, Father John officiating. Immediate family will meet at the cemetery following the ceremony.  No reception will be held.  The M. B.
