As a young girl growing up next door to Rose for me was a great pleasure. She would call and ask whoever answered to send Amy over. I would excitedly skip down her long driveway to her door. She was always waiting for me with her beautiful smile and would hand me a special made "Amy pie" she would call them. They were always so yummy. They were small & petite just like I was.
In later years I took over the home I grew up in and once again lived next door to Rose. We shared recipes, flowers, storys. My love for flowers and gardening came from Rose. She was a super sweet special lady in my life.
