John G. Ducharme, Sr. passed away July 23, 2023 doing what he loved, lawn care. He was born May 19, 1949 in Rouses Point, and was married for 45 years to Beverly J. (Barcomb) Ducharme who died in 2019. John moved to Chazy to raise his family before returning to Rouses Point for the remainder of his life.
John is survived by his daughter, Tonyea Warren and her husband Francis Warren, grandson Justin Bodah, great-granddaughter Harper Mei Bodah, and son John Ducharme, Jr. John also has five living brothers and three living sisters Rodney, Peter, Paul, Mike, and David, Harriet, Gail, and Jane and their families. John has many nieces and nephews a few living cousins and aunts and uncles. Many friends and his chosen non-biological children such as Amber, Shannon, and Jeff.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and lawn care. John was a general contractor laborer for many years since the age of 16. His first job was with Vic West, then moved to Trahan Construction, then Robert Glode Construction where he retired.
