William A. Izzo, Sr. ,89, of Trumbull, CT beloved husband of Lorraine Mignone Izzo, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 in his home. William was born in Hamden, CT son of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Pascarella Izzo. He was a graduate of the University of Connecticut, School of Business, and was an Engineering Administrator in Aerospace at Perkin Elmer in Danbury and later at Lorrel Systems in Yonkers, NY. He was a very happy and positive person of great Faith and made everybody around him feel wonderful. Survivors in addition to his wife include his son William A. Izzo, Jr., and wife Sandra of Lake Placid, NY, four grandchildren Elizabeth, Joseph, Anna, and Jesse and three great grandchildren. Friends may call Monday from 4:000 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial. will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., meeting directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull, CT. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Lake Placid, NY, Thursday, August 3rd at 10:00 am. The M. B. Clark, Inc., Funeral Home in Lake Placid, NY is in charge of Lake Placid, NY arrangements.
